YouGen Energy Expert wins installer of the year
Posted by Cathy Debenham on 23 November 2009 at 9:13 am
Congratulations to everyone at SunGift Solar which has won Installer of the Year in RegenSW's Green Energy Awards. Company founder Gabriel Wandrausch is one of YouGen's volunteer Energy Experts, contributing articles on solar hot water to the YouGen blog.
SunGift Solar, which started as a solar thermal installer, now covers all renewable energy technologies. Its focus on customers service has been recognised by this award:
"At SunGift Solar we try to go above and beyond our standard remit in every area of the company," said Gabriel. " We really do strive to offer the best service possible. Winning this award and being recognised by Regen South West means a great deal to us all."
SunGift Solar is one of the companies that has embraced the YouGen feedback system. When it finishes a job, it gives customers a postcard inviting them to say what they think of the service on YouGen. The clarity and quality of the recommendations it has received impressed the Green Energy Award judges, and helped it stand out from the competition.
Other winners include Devon County Council, which won Most Proactive Local Authority. Castle Drogo (also in Devon) won best renewable energy scheme for its 400kW biomass boiler and Clifton Lido in Bristol won best small renewable energy scheme for the solar scheme which heats the outside pool.

@treadinglightly They could have made the point about insulating now much more strongly #itvtonight 3 hours ago
@ploughcroft Oh that explains some of the misinformation #itvtonight - you'd think they'd edit in things like FIT rates 3 hours ago
