Your experience of small scale renewable energy is needed
Posted by Cathy Debenham on 13 September 2011 at 8:32 am
Have you installed small scale renewable energy such as solar panels or a wind turbine in the past 18 months? If so, Consumer Focus would like to hear how it went for you.
Consumer Focus will use the findings of its research to feed into the government's consultation on the future of the feed-in tariff, and also to wider industry about any need for improvement in the standard of sales practice and installation of these products, and ultimately ensure consumers are better protected.
In its role as statutory consumer champion, Consumer Focus aims to persuade businesses, public services and policy makers to put consumers at the heart of what they do.
As well as informing the feed-in tariff review, it will also feed the findings into the design of the renewable heat incentive and the green deal. The questionnaire covers all aspects of the process of installing small scale renewable energy, and takes about 15 minutes to complete.
In such a new industry, it's really important to learn what's going on, what works well, and what help people might have needed to get a better solution. So do please take time to share your experience.
Click here to start the questionnaire. It closes on 27 September 2011.
