My wife and I have been considering installing some form of renewable energy for several years. With teenagers in the house, a boiler and hot water tank that needed replacing we opted to install a solar heated hot water system.

Since the installation of a 30 tube collector and a 300 litre dual coil hot water tank coupled to a new high efficiency oil boiler, we have said goodbye to the worry of running out of hot water and what's more I am being paid to create it.

If carrying out a renovation to create a wonderful home take a good deal of time to plan all the aspects of the jobs in hand as one job tends to lead into several other areas -  insulation, aesthetics, ergonomics, water, waste and electricity.

I planned the future projects into the current ones as I went along so the integration of the solar system went seamlessly.  I am delighted with the results.
