After warranties, an instruction booklet is the most important feature of after sales service that you can offer microgeneration customers according to research by Delta Energy and Environment. This offers installers a great opportunity to shine and to differentiate themselves from the crowd, as earlier research published in Keeping FIT, found that 69% of buyers are not given a guide to getting the best out of their system.

The more people know how to use the system, the better the return, and the happier customer you have. Happy customers are more likely to recommend their installer to friends (and on YouGen), so it makes good business sense too.
