Petition to get government to review its approach to the solar feed-in tariff. 24,000 signatures to date!

Are you one of those incensed by the current consultation to review the Feed-in Tariff? Are you unhappy that the government is back tracking on its pledge to be the ‘greenest government ever’? Do you think the cuts are going too far? Are you wondering why they would cut solar subsidies when they are happy to invest in nuclear and support fracking? Well this may be just what you need.
Why not vent your anger by signing a parliamentary petition. There is currently a petition to urge DECC to ‘DECC to urgently review the current approach to the solar feed in tariff’. When the petition receives 10,000 signatures (which it has already) the government will need to provide a response. Once the petition received 100,000 it will need to consider debating it in parliament. The petition currently has close to 24,000 signatures.
Signing is easy; just provide your name and post code and email address. You are then sent an email with a confirmatory link and then you are all signed up. You will get updates on the petition if anything changes, eg. when the government responds.
