Al Gore: optimism in the face of climate change

Posted by Anna Carlini on 15 April 2016 at 4:45 pm

Al Gore gives an uplifting and inspiring TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) talk to answer his own three questions:

  1. Do we have to change in the face of climate change?
  2. Can we change?
  3. Will we change?

The former Vice President of the US and Nobel Prize winning environmentalist backs up his claims with scientific evidence and reason, looking at our fight against climate change through the lens of economics, financial investment and science.

"When any great moral challenge is ultimately resolved into a binary choice between what is right and what is wrong, the outcome is foreordained because of who we are as human beings," he says.

"That is why we're going to win this."
