Company description

Oxford Solar PV is a family owned company specialising in the design and installation of domestic and commercial Solar PV systems across Oxfordshire and the surrounding areas.

We take great pride in every project and each installation is attended personally by Jonny Wilson, one of the Directors of the company. We design each system to your specific requirements and budget. As an MCS registered company we install and commission each system to the highest of standards, enabling you to access payments from the 'Feed in Tariff' scheme. We assist all customers with Fit applications or RooFit paperwork, as well as their EPC requirements.

We do not use sales people but only qualified engineers who are passionate about what they do. Our staff are all fully employed and insured and we do not use sub-contracted installation teams.

We operate from our offices in Wheatley near Oxford where we have a fully functioning PV system available to be viewed and inspected by appointment. We are also a 'Which Local' recommended installer and members of the Renewable Energy Consumer Code. We are MCS approved with the NICEIC as well as being NICEIC Domestic Installers.

How we work

Company Type: Installer, Building services, Consultant, Electrician, Energy advice / assessment, Heating engineer / plumber,

Markets we work in: Community, Domestic, New build, Private sector, Public sector, Renovation, Retrofit,

Products we supply: Inverters - SMA and Solar Edge
Panels - We are happy to install most makes of panel but as a SunPower agent we are proud to have access to the most efficient and powerful panel on the market, the 327 W E20 panel.
We also install the 'Immersun' hot water controller to reduce exported electricity and maximise self consumption of generated electricity.

Site visits and quotes: We offer a free, no obligation home visit/site assessment where your specific requirements will be discussed and a full site survey will be conducted enabling us to provide you with a written quotation.

The full installation cost clearly laid out in the written quotation includes roof survey/appraisal, full scaffolding, labour and materials, electrical and building control certification as well as DNO notification as required.

After sales service: As well as the standard manufacturer's warranty, we are so confident in our workmanship and the materials selected that each system comes with an 'in house' 5 year warranty.

If your original installation company has also ceased to trade we also offer a fault finding/repair service for your existing system.
