David is a member of PRASEG (Parliamentary Renewable and Sustainable Energy Group), and also Vice Chair of the Onsite Renewables sector group for the REA (Renewable Energy Association). He also sits on the Low Carbon Economy Board for the Liverpool City Region LEP, the Energy and Environment steering group for the Liverpool & Knowsley Chambers of Commerce.
David has spoken about renewable energy on ITN News, BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio Merseyside, BBC Radio Cumbria, City Talk radio, and had various articles, papers and opinion pieces published in places as diverse as the Financial Times, The Independent, Sunday Times, Mail on Sunday, Sunday Telegraph, The Guardian, FTadvisor, regional press and various national and international trade publications.
David has been invited to speak at events such as Microgen, GreenBuild, the launch of the regional Mini-Stern report, Northwest Energy Forum, Natural Environment Research Council seminars, Nuclear Free Local Authorities, Greener Museums, and various events for the promotion of renewable energy.
David
has over 20 years sales and Marketing experience, including sales management
and national/key account management. His clients have included companies such
as United Utilities, SKF, British Vita, Capita, Gartner, Marconi and a host of
major construction companies, in the UK and overseas. His passion for the
environment and renewable energy led him to co-found Eco Environments in
December 2007. He is currently studying for a Bsc in Environmental science.
