Solar panels installed March'12. Been very happy until today when spotted meter not working. Apparently they stop after power cuts. Brit Gas FIT team say must get installer to reset but they've gone into liquidation! Task now is to get it reset & try to recoup lost data. Installers come & go like mushrooms so not happy there's no overall support from energy/fit co when they benefit from the energy production.
Diary dates due to submit readings - don't rely on reminders from BritGas or pc reminders when PC's crash.
Make a note to check the fit meter after power cuts - perhaps a post it in the mains fuse box??
