A little over a year ago we had Solar PV panels installed rated 2.1kW. Although the weather last year seemed poor we have made the return expected and are very pleased with trouble free operation of the panels and inverter.
I live in a 3-bed semi and installed cavity wall insulation many years ago which was very effective. I recently replaced my central heating system getting one of the latest high efficiency boilers with new controls. As part of an extension I became double glazed throughout. Low energy lighting remains an on-going project balancing the high cost of the fittings against the savings in consumption.
My installer was a local man, Sims Solar, who not only gave us a smooth installation but has followed it up with further information and advice. This suggests finding a reliable installer is well worthwhile.
