For the past 3 years I have been eco-renovating our 1970's link detached house in Horton cum Studley. We tried to combine extensions with ground source heating and heat recovery ventilation so that the increased value of the property would pay for the eco features in the long term. Planning took 18 months and the building phase is just ending.
We want to measure the benefits carefully so that others can get the best out of their project.
We will have open house most Wednesdays so that people can discuss their ideas. Phone 01865 351984 if you would like to come.
I have been studying climate change since 2006 and have gathered over 1000 authoritative documents and opinions on http://U3AClimateStudy.pbworks.com
You are welcome to join me to keep the picture of science, politics and DIY action up to date.
I have been part of the problem for the last 50 years so I want to be part of the solution for the sake of my grandchildren.
