I now have a 6KW Proven which has produced 5.5MW of power in 7 months so I am very pleased with the product. Planning was not easy and my only near neighbour complained bitterly despite being over 200 metres away.
We live on a 1000 foot mountain in west Wales and has always been a windy site in fact 30 years ago before we had mains electricity connected we found and installed two 300 watt Lucas freelights small wind turbines designed for lighting farm out buildings so my interest in the subject was started then. After that we installed the mains and didn't think much more about it until someone I new said the government were allowing grid connect systems to be installed. From past experience the problem with microgeneration was storage and the cost of the batteries but now this obstical had been removed and the publicity over global warming my interest was rekindled.
