9x Sanyo HIT PV panels on south facing roof = 2.25 kWp, plus 8x Mitsubishi Electric 185Wp on west roof, total 3.73kWp nominal and about 3.5kWp effective. Also a Thermomax solar thermal collector. Very happy with performance of both.
So far we have four butts for rainwater collection, and have two more ready to install.
Would love to have electricity storage and control system, such that we'd still have power during a grid cut. A German friend is working on a tabletop 5kWh flywheel unit. But where to find a control system?
