YouGen, the online portal providing practical information and advice on all aspects of energy efficiency and renewable energy, and Green Building magazine are the official media partners for the new Sustainable Homes Show, part of The National Homebuilding & Renovating Show. The show takes place at the NEC from 27-30 March 2014 and is run by Centaur Media PLC, the leading UK based business information, publishing and events group.
Sustainable features are at the forefront of many self-builders’ minds and the new partnership will provide YouGen with access to a knowledge hungry audience of serious home builders and renovators, eager to gain a greater understanding of the right technology, the best products and reliable tradesmen.
The print media partner at the show will be Green Building magazine. Published for over 20 years (and previously known as 'Building for a Future' magazine), this publication delivers useful, practical and honest information regarding sustainable and healthy building and includes eco case study property projects from around the UK.
Jason Orme, spokesperson for The Sustainable Homes Show says: “These new partnerships enhance the features at The Sustainable Homes Show and provide visitors with an added source of information about building or renovating an eco friendly home.”
Cathy Debenham, founder of YouGen, comments: “The best possible time to think about sustainability is when you are building or renovating a home. This is why we’re so pleased to be one of the official media partners for The Sustainable Homes Show. It’s a perfect fit with our vision of a UK where homes are energy efficient and renewable energy is the norm.”
Keith Hall, editor of Green Building magazine, says: “ With the current urgent need to move towards low energy and sustainable building and the need to improve the UK’s existing housing stock, Green Building magazine is happy to be the print media partner of The Sustainable Homes Show which is helping to promote the subject to a wider audience.”
YouGen has established itself as a leading name in the sustainable home market by making it easy for people to obtain the information they need to make the best choices when improving the energy efficiency of their home or business.
