General review of your supplier
Oxford Solar PV is a subsidiary of Taylors Services. Taylors Services is a long established building company local to us and which we have used many times before. Being part of a long established company was very important to us when choosing a supplier as we wanted to ensure that if we had any problems, questions, or needed support after the installation then they would still be able to help. Our 2.94 kW system was commissioned in late February 2012. Jonny and his team were conscientious yet quick at installing the system. Other professionals who have worked in our loft have commented on how neat the solar panel installation is. The quote to do the work was accurate, and the actual annual generation figure was a little higher than what was estimated so we were very happy. In January 2013 Oxford Solar PV fitted an Immersun 2 unit to use electricity, that would have otherwise been exported back to the grid, to power the immersion heater in our hot water cylinder. This has been a great success, and we would recommend a Immersun 2 unit to anybody who has solar pv and an immersion heater. A few weeks prior to our installation, Oxford Solar PV also installed a 3 kW solar pv system for my parents, who lived in the next village. We would have a friendly competition as to who was generating the most every time that we spoke on the phone. To sum up, we’re very happy with our solar pv system and that we chose Oxford Solar PV to fit it.
